Up for sale is a very nice 18 size 15 jewel E. Howard Series III pocket watch in an 18k solid yellow gold case out of an estate! The key wound and set movement is marked: E. Boston 7115 Reed’s Patent Nov. The movement dates to around 1865. The dial is simply marked: E Howard & Co Boston. The dial is in fair condition – see photos for condition. The case is in good condition, showing only light scratches, and the bow is starting to show some wear. The finish on the button to open the lid has worn through. Inside of the case back and lid are marked: W&S 18 2228. Inside the movement cover is also marked 2228. The case without the movement weighs 78 grams.
