A fantastic John Forrest Silver and Gold Cased Fusee Pocket Watch. Gold engraved case, silver hallmarks, gold inlaid center ring. The movement is marked London with Serial number 84826, the case is matched and numbered 826. It has a silver dial with gold roman numeral markers and engraved surface and glass crystal. Great condition with no dents and the engravings are crisp. Needs to be cleaned. Please contact Lefflers Antiques with any questions. IT IS SIGNED ON THE MOVEMENT WINEGARTENS 7 JEWELS 534 SWISS MADE. THIS IS A CORTEBERT 534 MOVEMENT. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, THE NICKEL CHROMIUM NICKEL CASE HAS JUST MINOR NATURAL AGE. IT HAS A SCREW FRONT AND BACK. THE ENAMEL DIAL HAS NO HAIRLINES, IT HAS A CHIP ON ITS EDGE, BUT THIS IS UNDER THE RIM OF CASE AND CANNOT BE SEEN, WITH THE WATCH IS IN USE. THE THICK GLASS IS QUITE CLEAN. THE WATCH WINDS SMOOTHLY, AND RUNS WELL, KEEPING GOOD TIME. IT IS A LARGE 55MM ACROSS THE CASE. IT HAS A LEATHER STRAP WITH BUTTON BAR.
