Pocket Watch Case

Very unique pocket watch from early in the Civil War. This American Watch Co. (Later American Waltham) William Ellery model was manufactured in 1862 and is a model 1857. The dial is in very good condition for its age. The case is coin silver, full Hunter, glass crystal, hinged bezel. All hinges work properly and the lids snap closed. The hair spring stud is not attached and the hairspring needs to be replaced. Chain with what I believe is the original key is included. Estimated Production Year: 1862. Total Production: 521,689.
