The outer case which is not silver, it was made in the Middle East to hold the 18. Century Silver Fusse Pocket Watch. This case is decorated with thirteen cabochon glass jewelsand on the inside is a piece of paper with Arabic writing. The 2 ½ diameter case still closes, however there is some roughness to the back. Century English Pocket Watch is in very good condition and measures 2 in diameter. It retains its original bubble crystal, enameled face and blue steeled hands. If you look closely you will see that there are Arabic numbers around the outside edge. There also are unusual triangular markings. Some of these are doubled, some are pointing in different directions and there is a large zero where the number five would go. The silver case is clearly hallmarked with the London mark and the date letter 1777. We couldn’t find the exact makers mark, but we believe it was made John Robins.
