A very interesting and most important fine Shagreen outer case with a silver watch. BY JOHN RICHARDS A LISTED MAKER. PLEASE DO TAKE TIME TO READ THE FULL LISTING AND DO ENLARGE THE PHOTOGRAPHS TO GET A BETTER LOOK. The size of the outer shagreen case is 51 m. The case is in good condition with a good colour. Most of the gold pins are in place, small pieces as shown missing round front bezel. Shagreen is a form of sharkskin it was used to cover expensive watches. The size of the case with the watch size is 41 m. Case with the watch is Silver hallmarked London for 1771. DIAL white enamel is nice condition. The glass is very high nose mineral and clean and clear. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop. The watch runs Time keeping Aprox + or – 2/3 minuets per hour, mask engraved and scroll pierced engraved broad balance cock, square pillars. Engraved on the back plate with the makers name. The watch will come with a key. Just great to have such an amazing and interesting watch that is as good as this one, and it just has every thing one could want on a fine verge watch, very hard to find a watch in this condition with all that it has going for it. Rare Amazing Leather Outer Gilt Verge Fusee P/case Watch Tulip Pillars Working

A very interesting and most important leather outer case in great condition. Gilt pair case watch. Verge, fusee movement tulip pillars. With a great silver key with stone set in it. T he has leather covered on the back and front bezel with a very good colour, all the pins are in place on the back and front. (my photographs do not do it justice). Size of the outer leather case is 55 m. M, with a very nice clean watchmakers paper so nice to have and rounds this fine watch off. Clip may need adjusting. The size of the pinchbeck gilt case with then watch is 45 m. In very nice condition, and so very nice to see how well this watch was looked after as the stem has never had to be repaired and still turns. Are very fine beetle and poker hands that look original. DIAL white enamel is fine condition, note mark at 30 is the clip to lift the movement. The glass is very high domed bull nose mineral with a small chip on the side at 9. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop. The watch runs well with a variation of C 2-3 minuets per hour. With a very fine engraved back plate with a decorated and engraved broad balance cock, a silver Tompion regulator. Signed on the back plate. With magnificent Tulip pillars. A very interesting and most important MINT WATCH WITH SHAGREEN OUTER CASE large silver case REPEATER WATCH RINGS THE HOURS AND THE QUARTER HOURS ON A BELL. A verge, fusee movement. The case is covered with shagreen on the back of the case, and as you can see it is in mint condition with silver pins and round the holes to let out the sound of the repeater. The colour is a very good green, it will come with a good watchmakers paper. The silver case with the watch is also in mint condition, size 55 m. The weight of the watch 177 grams. All the hinges and clips work well on the cases. REPEATER to activate the repeater you push down the stem and it will ring on a bell with a good clear sound the hours and the quarter hours.
