Early Verge fusee pocket watch in silver repouse case. The movement is signed by the maker Worke London. Silver hallmarks in the inner watch case date the watch; London 1771. Not in working order, when light pressure is applied to the minute hand the movement works. (when released it stops). From the glass cover the hinge is broken on one side. The Beautifull repouse outer case shows signs of wear due to age and use. In the movement there is some corrosion. Please look at all pictures as part of the description.
