Up for sale is a very special all original 16 size Waltham Crescent Street pocket watch in a beautiful gold filled Hunter’s case marked U. And with the insignia for the U. This beautiful watch is a 1908 model, made in 1908, with a beautiful high grade movement that is in very good condition. Movement : This watch runs well and keeps very good time. The beautiful original lever set movement has 21 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions. It has ruby jewels, gold screw settings, gold center wheel and gold balance weights. It is in great condition. Dial : The original double sunk dial is in good condition with just some hairlines. Case : The beautiful gold filled Hunter’s case is the original and is in very good condition with just a little brass on the stem and crown. The lids open and close as they should. The case is very special in that it is engraved with the insignia of the U. Life Saving-Service, which was formed in 1878 and became the U. Coastguard service in 1915.
