Up for sale is a very beautiful and all original 18s Elgin veritas, 23 Ruby jewel high grade Rail Road pocket watch. This watch was made in 1905. This watch runs very good and keeps very good time. This watch has a beautiful movement! This watch a has a very hard to find original Veritas Rail Road case. Movement : The watch is in very good running condition and it keeps very good time. The movement is all original. The movement has 23 jewels, a lever set, adjusted to 5 positions, Adjusted to temperature, adjusted to isochronism, gold jewel setting, gold balance weights, Gold gear, ruby jewels, diamond end stone, jeweled barrel, steel escapement, and a high grade regulator. This movement is all original. Elgin’s very best! Dial : The original Elgin double sunk dial is in very good condition. The dial has a hairline. Case : The original Veritas case is a very nice RR gold filled case. The case is in great condition. The covers screw on and off like they should. The case shows light normal pocket wear.
