All Original/Screwed Down Gold Jewel Settings/Gold Gears/Near Mint Condition/Substantial 43.5 Grams 14K Solid Gold Investment. A truly stunning 108 year old Waltham with a signed fully jeweled double roller adjusted movement. No one offers watches of this calibre in no reserve auctions. This beautiful antique timepiece is a larger size with a case diameter of 34mm. The watch weighs a substantial 43.5 grams, about half of which is 14K gold. I mention the gold content for a base value only. I would never destroy a beautiful antique gold pocket watch for the gold content. It is my hope that this watch ends up in the hands of an ardent collector for many years of enjoyment and appreciation! This fine Victorian Waltham is in about mint condition with no dings, dents, scratches or repairs. The front cover pops open to exactly 90 degrees when the stem is depressed. The bow is excellent with none of the wear or looseness commonly found. The polished 14K gold cuvee is mint. The watch is stem wind and set. The wind is silky smooth and it keeps excellent time. The 14K gold case and covers are all excellent with light wear consistent with it’s age of 108 years. Please examine the many photos for a close look. There’s an elegant monogram on the front cover. The signed ” WALTHAM ” snow white porcelain dial is pristine. With black Arabic numerals and a small sunken seconds sweep marked out in 10 second intervals. Red Arabic time markers at the outer edge of the dial marked out in five minute intervals. All three covers are 14K solid gold and snap tightly closed. The inside of the 14K gold front cover is stamped with serial number ” 537973 “. The inside of the 14k gold rear cover is stamped W. Inside the polished 14K gold cuvee is stamped ” 14K 537973 “. The watch has also been professionally tested and is fully guaranteed to be solid 14K gold. The pristine damaskeened movement is a signed Waltham safety barrel type in fine running condition. It’s signed A. Lady Waltham ADJUSTED 17161144. The edge of the 14K gold case is stamped with the matching serial number 37973, proving the watch to be all original.
