ILLINOIS BUNN SPECIAL GRADE 163 MARKED DIAL MODEL 108 CASE RAILROAD POCKET WATCH

16 size 23 jewel open face lever-set Bunn Special Grade 163 pocketwatch. Excellent example of this top grade railroad watch fronted by its correct double-sunk enamel dial marked “Illinois, Bunn Special, 23 Jewel 60 Hour” and housed in a yellow gold-filled Model 108 Bunn Special case. Movement serial number is 5390960. Running and a beautiful movement with excellent color and luster. Dial is beautiful with just a very faint hairline in the small space of the inner chapter between the center hole and the top of the seconds-bit, this hairline crosses the number “6″ in the “60 Hour” marking. Case is very nice with an excellent in hand look and feel, but removing the bezel reveals an additional lever-set slot filed at the 11 O’clock area.
