This is a Running! 1789 Verge Fusee Pocket Watch with paired sterling cases 50mm/56mm made in England for a Watchmaker named Alex Millor who had his shop in Perth Scotland. It keeps fairly accurate time for being 230 years old. Maybe 10 minutes in 24 hours. The cases are both in nice condition with no major dings or scratches. The workmanship inside is amazing. It all works great. All the little papers were inside when I won this a couple years ago and they live inside the first case to keep the inside case and movement nice and snug. Mid 18th century verge fusee made by Leamoure of London. The watch has a beautiful sharp edged repouse outer case, good clear crystal, clean and fully functional movement. There are a few minor lines on the dial(see pics). The dial is painted with cool tone colors which accent the silver case nicely. Here is a unique Hand Made Paired Case Fusee/Verge with a engraved face on the Balance Cock. The movement chain is intact and hooked up. The balance swings good and it will run for a minute or two but stops. It needs to be cleaned and adjusted. This is a one of a kind and it is close or over 300 Hundred Years old! The case is Golden bronze or brass color but the material is untested and unknown to me, so I assume Brass or gilded metal. I don’t have any way to test. The glass is original and has a flat spot on the dome for a nice visual effect. The dial is enamel, The hands are nice and appears to be made of Gold and are in good shape. The inner and outer case close tightly! A nice re-storable 1700′s Pocket Watch and will make a nice addition to someone’s collection. Here is a unique Hand Made Onion shaped Fusee/Verge with a Repousee decorated back with a multiple figure scene. The movement chain has come loose but the hook is still attached as far as I can see. The case is worn but the designs are beautiful for an early 1700′s Pocket Watch! This is a one of a kind and it is close or over 300 Hundred Years old!
