For sale is a Niello cased IWC calibre 52 pocket watch, circa 1916. Niello is a special black metallic alloy of sulfur with silver. That is used to fill designs that have been engraved on the surface of a metal. The dial is recessed enamel and quite clean, and the hands have a wonderful moon and stars motif.
