Antique LONGINES Wooden BOX for Pocket Watches Mother of Pearl Emblem 1900 EMPTY. Hardwood, with a mother-of-pearl emblem on the lid and a button on the front to open/lock the lid. Inside, the lid is lined with burgundy silk, signed “Longines, ” and displays European Grand Prix medals. The base is lined with burgundy velvet, and includes a pocket watch holder, which is movable and also has a stand on the back to use the box as a watch display. 11,3 cm wide. Pocket watch holder diameter. Condition: Overall good for a 120-year-old item, showing signs of use and aging on the wood on the outside, but the lid, hinges, and lock are in working order. The interior is mostly well preserved, but notice some wear to the velvet on the stand. The underside of the lid has a horizontal line in the wood as seen in the photo. AS SEEN INTHE PHOTO. ANTIQUE DOUBLE HUNTER GOLDFILLED FAHYS POCKET WATCH CASE W/ FLORAL EMBLEM DESIGN. This antique pocket watch case appears to be produced in the early 1900′s and marked by the Fahys Watch Case Co. The double hunter style case is filled with genuine yellow gold and features a beautifully etched floral emblem design on both plates. The case is good condition with little sign of wear (Please see photos). This genuine piece would be a perfect addition to any collection in your home! 63.6g and measures 54mm round on the exterior.
