This is an authentic Movado Chronometre pocket watch with a distinctly vintage-oriented character, showcasing the refined design and precision craftsmanship of early 20th-century Swiss horology. Manufactured in Switzerland and housed in a 12 size silver open-face case, this watch reflects Movado’s focus on accuracy, elegance, and long-term reliability during the interwar era. The striped, jewel-set movement is fully signed Movado and finished to chronometer standards, underscoring its high-grade origins. The white enamel dial is signed Movado and features classic Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock, giving the watch a clean, timeless look. Blued steel hands retain rich color and complement the dial beautifully. This handsome Ermeto travel watch is perfect on a chain or sitting with its easel back on a desk or nightstand. The face features Roman numerals, a double circle with tick marks and a sweep hand. There is a chain loop on one corner of the dark brown alligator case. The front is marked Movado, Chrometre, Ermeto, Swiss Made. The back has the production numbers 1235 603M. Similar watches are referenced in the NAWCC Bulletin, 1994. When closed, the watch measures approximately 2 by 1.25 inches and opens to a width of 3 inches.
