The hinge on this case is perfect and the crystal is glass high dome. The hands are solid gold and original. The enamel dial is also original and repaired around the keyhole area. As mentioned, this is a key wind and key set from the front in the middle of the dial chain fuse driven movement. Every link of this chain has been inspected by myself with my Zeiss microscope and each and every link is strong and secure. All parts have been inspected before the cleaning process and afterwards needless to say. A few winds with the key and off it goes. The era for this incredible multi tested 18 karat gold case fusee is 1740! And ticks up a storm! The chain is gold filled.
