CYMA Retro Art Deco Tank-Styled Watch, Rare 900 Silver Case, Original Velvet Box. This is a rare find CYMA retro tank-styled wristwatch, originally intended for men but is more unisex today. Most tank-styled Cyma are gold-plated or in stainless steel, but this one has an original 900 Silver case. At 26.5 mm wide (not counting the crown), this is also a larger watch than the mid-century retro art deco watches (usually only 22 mm wide). The dial is in beautiful matte silver finish, with calligraphy printed Arabic numerals, a second sub-dial, and cathedral hands. The watch has a 17 jewels Cyma hand-winding movement that has been tested to be keeping good time. The condition of this watch is excellent – only usual minor buffs that are hardly noticeable at all. The 900 Silver case will tend to tarnish over time and need some wiping with a silver polishing cloth occasionally. The watch is still kept in its original Cyma velvet watch box with tag attached. The Cyma Tavannes brand was ultra popular in the 1950′s and 60′s.
