A beautiful Sterling Silver pair case verge fusee Pocket watch. Made by the watchmaker “William Hoplend of London”. The movement with winds smoothly, runs with a great motion. In all positions the whole chain down, keeps very good time for. An almost 200 year old verge watch, the movement is signed. Hoplend London, and the number 9724. The movement is recently fully serviced by a master watchmaker. The enameled dial is in a near mint condition, the crystal glass. Is a good clear condition. The sterling silver watch cases are near mint, identical hallmarked for. The city London, year letter L, what stands for the year 1826. No dings or dents, near mint. Across 55mm, including bow 75mm. Thick 25mm, weight 133 grams. Overall a beautiful sterling silver verge watch. In a fine working condition. Will be delivered with a fitting key, and also with a key set of 14 pcs.
