(IWC) Mechanical 18K Solid Gold Hunting Case Pocket Watch retailed by Tiffany & Co as signed on the dial. It is also a historical watch presented by owners of Fort Marcy, champion race horse of the year 1970. The wonderful pocket watch even comes with original Tiffany & Co. This is really a wonderful horological collectible item for any watch collector! The pocket watch itself is a wonderful IWC pocket watch with Caliber 98 hand winding movement inside, it is just a beautiful horological specimen. Condition-wise the watch winds and runs well. However, we have not had it serviced as it is mostly kept as a collectible. We dont guarantee function for this watch. Cosmetically the watch is in very good shape for its age, there are a few dings on the case band and some thread like marks on the dial due to age that are hard to see. There is also a ding/crease near the presentation on caseback. Diameter is 49mm, total weight is 83g. For your consideration is an 18S, 15J Waltham Model 1883, Grade 25 Pocket Watch produced in 1891. Watch is lever set and pendant wound. Watch is in working condition. The Dial has hairlines which can be seen in the photos. Overall Dial faces up very nicely. The fancy Bell Hands are blued. The crystal has a small scratches like a pocket watch gets with wear. The Movement is a very beautiful wavy nickel. The serial number is 4588816. The Box Hinged Hunter Case has very little wear to no wear and probably was not carried. Looks to be original to movement. Front cover functions as it should. All Covers open right at 90 degrees. Case is nicely decorated with flowers, beading, and great beaded interwoven coin edge. Please continue to check back.
