The mechanical movement has 7 jewels and is manually operated. The watch was manufactured in 1886 and has a 12-hour analog display with seconds hand. This pocket watch is an authentic piece of history, perfect for any watch enthusiast or collector. It has a snap caseback and comes with a beautiful silver case. The watch is not currently in working condition, and the crystal is missing. It comes from a Watchmakers collection and has been stored for over 50 years.

While it does not come with papers or original box/packaging, it is in working condition and ready for a new owner to appreciate its beauty and functionality. Bondale Antique Silver Case Swiss Pocket Watch. Not working, AS IS. The pocket watch is presumably made in the late 19th century. The case, double case back, bezel, crown and ring are made of 0.935 silver. The watch body doesn’t have any major damage, except for a few small “dot” type dents at the bottom of casing. It does have general wear on the case, which is natural for the watch over 100 years old. The mechanism does not work, but apparently all the parts seems are in place and the mechanism I guess may be repaired or can be used for parts. There is no key accompanying this watch (no key). I was able to wind the watch enough to get it to run. Please ask any questions you might have and confirm my description. Illinois Key Wind Pocket Watch, movement serial number on interior 877132. Based on my research that dates the watch to c1887 – Watch has a second hand and Roman numerals on the face – Rear of case has a floral design, no monogram – Interior lid of the case is marked A. W Co, O’Hara patents, COIN (I tested the case and it’s Coin Silver) and numbers 67191. Numerous number and initials lightly scratched into the interior lid – Interior case between outer cover and movement marked 2, 67191, A – Movement markings – 877132, I. Patent Pinion, Numbers in case outer rim 67191 Physical Size: Width 2 across. Condition: – Running, Good Physical Overall Used Condition. Again, I have minimal knowledge of pocket watches so my condition report will simply be what I see. The Watch crystal (outer covering over the dial) displays scratching, nicking and general wear. It is rather thick. The exterior case displays scratching, denting / dings, tarnish and the decoration shows wear. All sections of the Coin Silver Case display the same scratching and tarnish. The movement area (what shows) appears to be clean with some visible scratching. The case closes snugly. The pictures to view the condition of the items for yourself.
