Pocket Watch Case

I have for sale a rather rare unsigned deck watch, the movement is an EMT (Tissot) provided by Golay & Son Ltd. Of London – the same as those used in many of the Royal Navy HS3 deck chronometers. Stainless steel screw case with coin edge/milled bezel and caseback. The watch is in nice cosmetic condition and good running order however the service history is not known so one is recommended. The watch is about 80.5mm from top to bottom including the crown. The body is about 62.5mm in diameter. Please see my other auctions for more watches. Case size 50 mm without lugs and crown. Lug width: 24 mm. Case after carefully polishing. Inner cover stamped Dennison watch Co and Rolex watch co. Case back marked with the broad arrow above B 30124. Think this watch was issued to the Royal Artillery. Screwed back cover and besel – semi hermetic case. High grade Rolex movement 17 jewels, recently serviced and adjusted. Movement in great condition, sets and runs perfect, keep good time, has 40 hours power reserve. This is antique watch circa 1930. Watch has not water resistance, watch dial is porcelain (ceramic) and can be broken in case of hard shock. Watch is mechanical and need to wind every day. Its very much like the H3 deck watches that where used and I think its the Mathey Tissot version which was bought by the British Royal Navy its just not been issed and marked up yet. Not had one for years so not sure what they are worth but I think this price leaves a good profit for the next guy, all the best..
