These 21 jewel “Santa Fe Route” watches back in the day were made from a Grade 806 movement which is a very high quality movement. They are Railroad approve at Class G. They weren’t for full Railroad use due to only being adjusted to 3 positions. Case: Illinois “Salesman Display” case with snap off bezels. Outside D : 52 mm. Up for sale is. 1920 Antique Illinois Santa Fe Pocket Watch 21j 12s Hunter GF Case. This is a great looking watch. The case is lovely. It’s running and keeping time +2 min. The watch has a few minor scratches on the case and glass. The face watch is cracked. The inner flap has a small dent. The hook is almost completely devoid of gold. Small dent on the back flap. We do not know the exact history of each item, however, we always do our very best to describe the item and list all of the defects. Unfortunately, we are not the watchmakers and we are not able to assess the technical condition of the watch. For us the watch is working or not working condition. Balance has good motion and is true in the flat… No idea when it was last serviced… Gold colored dial signed and with Arabic numerals.. Bit and a nice set of Open Moon hands…. 25 Year gold filled Santa Fe Watch Co case.. Covers screw on and the threads are very good.. Crown has a some smoothing… The watch comes with a chain, appears to be very period..
