Elgin Gold filled Hunter Case, size 0 Pocket watch 1908 with 45in matching Chain. Is in very good condition running strong and keeping good time. Grade 320 model 2, 7J crown set movement # 13496943. Enamel dial with hearline. Vintage matching gold filled sliding chain measures 22.5in on each side, length in total 45in, 1.5. Running strong keeping time. [Mint] Item has never been used. Excellent Item is like new with very slight signs of use. Very Good Item have some minor signs of previous used but is in great condition without heavy scratches, wear or mechanical issues, may have some fine surface scratches. Good Item has slight surface scratches or slight wear, but looks great. Fair Item shows scratches or weir that is visible. Poor Item is not in perfect working order or damaged. 50cm (5mm) across the case. Waltham rail road grade Riverside model 1908 dating to 1918. Housed in a solid Nickel case with screw on front and rear covers. The case is in fine condition, only small marks commensurate with age, featuring a decorative edge to side and cover edges. Fantastic quality movement, 19 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions, rail road grade. Features a gold center wheel, gold jewel holders and gold balance weights. Fully serviced and includes, as ever, a modern alloy “unbreakable” mainspring. The double sunk dial is bright and clean, no chips, faint hairline crack running from 11 O’clock through center to sub seconds dial. The crystal is acrylic and in good condition. Complete with a matching solid Nickel graduated Albert chain. Another top piece, great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day. 30 day return for faulty or defective items. Here’s Hamilton’s #11 in matching display case form, with 100% consistent yellow gold fill tone, fancy flying eye bordered back and bezel, the thick neck, wide and wind-able original crown, distinct Gothic Cross model engraved bow and all the classic railroad-ready features!! This highly collectible and fine display case is in fully serviceable condition. I have restored and detailed this case right down to the threads so you get the best looking and working case possible! The back and bezel thread up easily, screw on and off smoothly, and both seat tight. I don’t know whether this is an original Hamilton-made display case, but it sure acts like one; the back and bezel are completely interchangeable and work just the same on either side. The correct original crown’s fluting is still sharp and defined for a tight, sure grip, and it turns freely when you pull out on it a tad, but, by design, does not extract, so only a lever-set e. Hamilton railroad-grade movement will work inside. The bow is also its engraved and correct original, shows zero brass or damage, and holds tight to all positions. The crystals are both beveled mineral glass and 100% clean and clear with no issues. This fine case fits all standard-featured lever-set-ONLY movements. The case does show exceedingly minimal wear, including superficial scratching only, zero nicks, marrings or artwork, zero brass anywhere on the scene, and absolutely, positively no sign of any dents, dings, dimples or depressions!! This is an early four digit E. Howard in its original numbers matching coin case. It is difficult to find these early Howards in the case they left the factory in.
