This watch is in good running order. Please understand this is an antique, collector’s timepiece and being so it will not keep exact, to the second time as a new timepiece would.

Good to Very Good, See Pictures! Shows some wear/scratches, but looks great! Crystal looks like glass, in great condition. Used #8 key to wind and set, runs but weak action/stops-will need to be service to ensure running and timekeeping. See pics for full review!

Super crisp, in bank box since the 1980′s. Solid marked 14Kt yellow gold box hinge pocket watch with sweet back movement cover engraved “Jessie from Papa June 22nd, 1883″. Total weight 72.3 grams including movement. “Royal” 1996001 movement number identify for 1882, A8341 case number. In running condition but would highly recommend professional cleaning. Measures 41.5 mm wide, 2 7/16 tall including top loop. I’ve had a question for a fellow ebayer asking if this a 18 Size? From measurements I believe it to be a 14. Grid shown is comprised of 5mm squares for size reference The thick glass crystal will arrive unsecured to bezel but with label size. This was the only one in my batch of crystals properly sized. Also included is an etched glass crystal that had been fitted, you can have it just for giggles and grins. I do believe the pendant may need adjusting or clutch gear from the included spare. Elgin 18s 14K Box Hinge HC. 18 size 11 jewel hunting case lever-set pocket watch with beautiful 14K gold box hinge drum style hunting case. A very impressive gold case with a terrific engraving to its rear of a fancy home on an island at sea against a mountainous background. Watch is fronted by a fancy sunk-seconds enamel dial marked for retailer Rovelstad Brothers of Elgin, Illinois. Movement is gilt finish. Movement serial number is 2785855. Gross weight of complete watch is 87.8 dwt (136.6 grams). Gilt plates have some mild haze spots and some mild fine scratch striations likely from a past wiping. Dial has a good overall in hand look but with some patched chipping at the perimeter of its seconds-register, some hairlines and scratches around its seconds-register, and a small edge flake under the case bezel at 7.
