AN EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL FULLY HALLMARKED CIRCA 1910 18K CARAT SOLID GOLD FABULOUSLY DECORATED ENGRAVED AND ENAMELED CASE BACK AND DIAL DIAL FOB WATCH IN A RARE OCTAGONAL SHAPED WATCH CASE WITH A LOVELY SOLID 15 CARAT GOLD BROOCH! A STUNNING DIAL WITH RARE BLUE DIAL NUMERALS! FULLY SERVICED BY MY WATCHMAKER AND READY TO USE! The 4 piece double hinged case to this beautiful watch is solid 18 carat FULLY MARKED gold with a gold metal dustcover. The case is designed OCTAGONALLY in shape and looks fabulous. It has a beautiful hand engraved pattern to the case back which is sumptuosly enameled with orange green and black enamels to form a foliate scene (see pics). There is some wear to some of the enamelling. The case back is in great condition showing just a couple of tiny light dings. The case sides have just a couple of small dings that I can see. All of the covers snap to. I have gently polished the case, and it is shining wonderfully, as only SOLID 18k GOLD can. The dust cover is in good condition and is made from GOLD COLORED METAL. THE WATCH MEASURES 3.1CMS (31MM) across. The hinges show no signs of major abuse. The 18k hallmarks are clear. This lovely collectible watch has a STUNNING original beautifully Pallionne enamel decorated dial. It is unsigned and is showing NO damage whatsoever. It has lovely RARE Roman BLUE painted numerals rather than the standard black ones on other watches of this type which are in excellent condition. The dial has a beautiful hand enameled silver design around its outside with a black’Railway’ minute track. The crystal is glass and may be the original. It is in good condition showing only light age related wear. The beautiful antique Spade style watch hands are golden steel and are in excellent condition. This is a lovely condition Swiss made crown wind and pin set cylinder movement which was typical of the movements at this time. It is unsigned but is SWISS made. It has minty steel screws. This watch has had a full service by my watchmaker of 40 years. The watch winds ok and the pin setting works as it should. The watch keeps time to approx +/- 3 mins a day. The chain ring looks to be gold plated and is in good condition. This beautiful ladys fob watch is made complete with a beautiful fully hallmarked SOLID 15 CARAT GOLD PIN BROOCH. The brooch is in excellent condition and the hallmarks are for Birmingham and the date letter is for 1910 so I can confidently assume that this is the original brooch that was bought with the watch. Please remember that vintage watches have survived for many decades by being treated well. Vintage watches are not for wearing while doing yard work, working out, or swimming. Vintage watches cannot keep time like their quartz cousins and will need altering on average between +-2 to +-5 mins per day. They are a little more destructible than modern watches. Vintage watches also require periodic service and cleaning. Every couple of years, they would like their 20,000 mile checkup, oil change, and general service. The 3 piece case to this beautiful watch is solid. IT IS BEAUTFULLY ENAMELED IN AN IRRIDESCENT BLUE WITH SEED PEARLS SET TO THE CASE BACK AND BEZEL AND WITH GOLD AND SILVER HIGHLIGHTS. IT IS ALSO ACCOMPANIED BY A SOLID SILVER RIBBON STYLE BROOCH WHICH IS ORIGINAL TO THE PIECE AND IS ALSO ENAMELED IN BEAUTIFUL BLUE. I can hardly see any enamel loss on the case back and brooch with just one or two tiny areas when viwed under magnification. Apart from that the enamel work is excellent. The gilt watch case is fully hall marked for. 935 grade silver and the brooch is marked for 900 silver. I can see no dings to the case. All of the covers snap to well. This lovely collectible watch has a STUNNING original snow white fabulously enamelled dial It is unsigned, and is in excellent condition. It has beautiful sharp and crisp Arabic RARE BLUE painted numerals which are enclosed by a beautiful GOLD DOTTED minute track. Everything is crisp and clear with no apparent numeral wear. The crystal is glass and may be the original. As such it shows light wear. The beautiful antique filigree style watch hands are golden steel and are in excellent condition. This is a lovely condition Swiss made crown wind and pin set cylinder movement. It has minty steel screws. The movement is marked’Swiss Made’ and’15 jewels’ on the top plates. The watch runs and has been FULLY SERVICED by my watchmaker. The watch is keeping good time as tested over a 24 hour period. It winds smoothly and the setting action works as it should. The crown is in excellent condition. The chain ring is solid silver and shows light normal wear. This beautiful timepiece is accompanied by its ORIGINAL solid 900 silver hall marked matching’Ribbon’ shaped blue enameled brooch and pin. THE BROOCH HAS A SOLID 9 CARAT GOLD DOGCLIP TO ATTACH IT TO THE WATCH. The brooch is serviceable and wearable and matches the watch completely. THIS IS A FANTASTIC BEAUTIFULLY HAND MADE TIMEPIECE.
