Elgin National Watch Co. USA 16s, 15 jewel, grade 305, model 6, class 107 in very good working condition. Serial number 11119878 dates this this pocket watch to 1905. Full hunter case is hallmarked Keystone Watch Case Co. Watch case has beautiful gold tone. Front cover is slightly sprung opens further than 90 degrees. Cuvette has a personal inscription. It does show some signs of pocket wear. The 15 jewel 3 finger bridge movement is clean. The balance wheel has a brisk motion. This pocket watch winds, sets and runs with no issues. This antique pocket watch is about 113 years old, and it is in excellent condition. The watch runs fine and keeps accurate time. The lid pops up nicely when the crown is pushed. The case shows very little wear. The porcelain dial is in perfect condition, no small cracks or chips. It is marked ELGIN. The movement is marked ELGIN NATL. SAFETY PINION 17 JEWELS ADJUSTED 11630630. The movement looks clean and it is very ornately engraved. Notice the three finger bridge. The diameter of the case is 2 excluding the crown. The 15 jewel movement is size 16s and is stem wound and stem set. It is stamped “14k” on the inner back cover, and has a monogrammed “N” on the front cover. Weight : 90.4 grams. Dimensions : The case measures approximately 48mm in diameter, and the dial measures approximately 41mm in diameter. Condition : This watch is in very fine estate condition with minor scuffs and scratches to the metal.
