Full Hunter Silver Cased Verge Pocket Watch (Over 55mm) For Restoration (K40). Please see photographs for condition and size. The pocket watch needs restoration – the movement has a good chain and does wind, but the balance is stiff and doesn’t move freely. The balance has a good staff, flag present and hairspring. Inner bezel and crystal are missing. The case is in very good condition and would clean up very nicely. I have not touched, restored or cleaned it in any way! The height of the watch is 63.40mm/ 2.4960 inches/ 2 63/128 inches The width of the watch is 41.41mm / 1.63 inch / 1 81/128 inches. Brief History: Elgin National Watch Company. In fact, Elgin produced approximately one-half of the total number of better-quality pocket watches manufactured in the United States. What they have in common is that they all run nicely, the dials and crystals are all in good condition, no scratches or dents and all open and close nicely as they should. The Elgin is a 1902 Stem Set 15 Jewel Watch. The Waltham with the flower design is a 1893 15 Jewel Stem Set Watch and the other Waltham with the red and green color is a 1905 Stem Set 7 Jewel Watch. These are all Very Nice Watches. Elgin weighs 101 grams. The Waltham wth the flower design weighs 113.3 grams and the Waltham with the red and green colors weighs 101.4 grams.
