Silver pair cased verge pocket watch – London, c1730. Silver pair cases, 57.5 mm. MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with nicely engraved and pierced winged balance cock and plate. Large silver regulator disk and four Egyptian pillars. All in good original condition and running well. DIAL : Silver champleve dial in very good condition. Later hands, the hour repaired at the base. INNER CASE : Silver, makers mark B, but no hallmarks. In good condition, though the stem and bow are later so have been reattached. The hinge is a little worn so the bezel doesnt snap shut tightly. The high dome bulls eye crystal is scratched and worn, but no chips. OUTER CASE : Silver pair case, again with no hallmarks. Nice large square hinge. The hinge, catch button and catch are fine and the case closes correctly. There are a few light bruises to the back, and an old repair at the neck (only visible from the inside), but generally in quite good condition. ELGIN Gold Filled HUNTER CASE 7 Jewel POCKET WATCH. Case Keystone 20 years gold filled. 1 1/2 plus stem. Runs winds properly I could not set gave couple pulls decided not to pull more until serviced. Second hand, crystal, and loop around stem missing. Closes properly with perfect fit appears used very little. Watch in and out exceptionally clean I did not clean.
