16 size 21 jewel hunting case pendant-set Crescent St. Pocket watch with a spectacular 14K gold hunting case. Case is magnificent with unusual fancy engraving detail in exceptional crisp condition. Front shield of case is engraved with initials. Watch is fronted by a double-sunk enamel dial, and movement is nicely finished with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, and attractive nickel damaskeen. Movement serial number is 15010510. Gross weight of complete watch is 63.2 dwt, or 98.6 grams. Running but winding mechanism is skipping occasionally as watch is wound. Nice looking movement overall with good color and luster. Winding wheels have some oxide spots, and movement plates have some small marks around the case screw positions. Dial faces up beautifully with just a very faint hairline below the seconds-register at 27 minutes and an extremely faint outer chapter hairline at 1 minute. The present movement is not the original to the case as the case shows case screw marks from having held another movement at some time in its past. Glass crystal is excellent.
