Pocket Watch Case

A classic high grade railroad pocket watch, made by the Illinois Watch Co. In the very scarce Bunn Special Model. This beautiful watch is an 18 size, Model 6, open face, lever set, fitted with the Gothic Style Railroad Dial and a 21 jewel movement. The watch is completely original to 1897 and features a beautiful 2 tone nickel damaskeened rear plate with screw down gold jewel settings, and fancy Gothic script, also a diamond end stone and ruby jewels. The double sunk porcelain dial is in good condition with a couple of minor chiggers visible in the pics and signed Illinois Watch Co. The case is an original 10K gold filled Illinois Watch Case with its original bow and lightly engraved back. The watch has been running and keeping time and has been fitted with a acrylc crystal which is clear. Nice example for a devoted railroad pocket watch collector.
