RARE 1885 Waltham 7J Size 8s Seaside Pocket Watch – 10k Solid Gold Hunter Case. When fully wound and placed on a timegrapher in the dial up position for 1 minute, it shows the watch gaining approximately +18 seconds per day. Although it seems to keep good time, I have seen it stop prematurely on occasion, so I would suggest having it serviced. Some small cracks in the dial near 5:00. Some small dents in the case which are hard to see in the photos due to the engraving. Some case knife marks where the caseback is opened. 10k Solid Gold Hunter Case – (tested). 7 Jewel Gilt Model 1873 Seaside Grade Lever Set Movement. Watch diameter 41.9 mm. Roman numeral white enamel dial. Total weight including case, crystal, and movement is 61.92 grams.
