Up for sale is a rather rare dial Hamilton 18 size pocket watch. The dial is a AK Jobe dial done in the Ball script\style. Jobe was a inspector on the RR. The dial is rather sought after. The movement is a 18s Ball Hamilton 999A 21j. The watch is running but the last service is unknown. The crystal does have some scratches. The dial has a chip at the setting lever and a few fine hairlines with the most noticeable below the seconds chapter at 28. The front and back screw on and are not crossthreaded. This watch is in excellent condition and features a white face with bold Arabic numerals and blue metallic hands. The 17 jewel movement is running and accurate, housed in a 14k gold filled case. 12s / 12 size (about 1.75 not including stem). 17j / 17 jewels. Made in the USA. This watch is a nice 18SZ, Elgin antique pocket watch & fob in nice Display case, see through back, (glass on both sides). Its a 7 jewels – just serviced, Runs good. The #s on the movement are, 4436505, made in 1891. This is a 129 year old watch. From side to side. The dial is very clean with a no hairlines, you can see in the pictures. It looks like one of the glass crystals is new very nice Condition. The case looks great, nice and shiny. Its a stem set and lever wind.
