1950′s buren watch Borgel Francois (F B) steel Case f1. The diameter of this watch without the crown is 28.5 mm case. The case is all stainless steel stamped F. Borgel staybright steel and the back screws on and of as it should. The lug width or strap size is 16 mm. The condition of the balance is. The balance staff is good and swings freely and the watch runs strongly and keeps time when wound. The original dial and hands are in good vintage condition. You have to hold out the crown when you set the hands. This watch comes with its original dust cover which has kept the movement in very good condition. This watch comes to you completely torn down, ultrasonically cleaned, oiled and greased(using the finest Moebius oils and grease available)re-assembled and adjusted and running strong, keeping accurate time. The porcelain glass enamel dial is near perfect and the blued finished hands are bright and shiny. The yellow gold filled Cross Bar model case has a polished finsh and has a couple of small deeper scratches and 1 very small dent on the back cover. The bow is loose and does not hold position. The domed beveled mineral glass crystal is clean and clear. Overall, this is a very nice pocket watch with a very rare highly damaskeened 990 grade movement with the right dial and the right case.
