Offered is a very nice high grade Elgin pocket watch. The Philadelphia 20 year gold filled case is in great condition with no brass showing and tight hinges. The front cover hinge may be a little too tight, as the lift spring will not open it. Fancy numerals and original gold hands. Movement runs with good motion. Watch gives the appearance of not having been cleaned in a long time, dirt on dial, crystal, and case. The crown sometimes needs to be depressed slightly to engage the winding clutch, mentioned for accuracy. Overall a very nice old watch.
