Some call these salesman sampler cases, but actually jewelers used the cases to show off the different movements, style of hands, and dials you could get with your pocket watch. Both covers snap on/off. The crystals have some light scratches, but still look good. The case has relatively light age/use related wear. The case is a little dirty and should clean up well. The case diameter is about 2-1/8. Overall, it is a nice case. Good for the professional, beginner, or hobbyist! Might be good for steampunk jewelry or Sculpture. Winds, keeps good time, lever set works. Watch has not been serviced and stem is loose so needs clean, lubrication and proper stem fitting. Grade: 9/10 Cosmetic; 8.5/10 Movement clean and running but needs service/lube. Model/Grade: 925 – M#2. Case: KEYSTONE early mark – 20 years 10K gold filled. 925, Model #2 – 17 Jewels. Nickle plated finish, full plate, #129065. Original sunken dial, Signed. Signed: Dial and movement marked “Hamilton”. Beautiful watch apparently with its original fancy turned gold filled case in excellent condition. Only the most minor signs of wear, no. Dents or major scratches. Closes tightly, crown and bow excellent. Crystal is glass in excellent condition. Watch movement is clean, writing clear and no rust. Watch has not been serviced and stem is loose so needs a clean, lubrication and proper stem fitting/alignment.
