Japan CITIZEN mechanical pocket watch ” Opera CHRONOMETER ” in 1936. Movement: Opera, CITIZEN JAPAN, Hand-winding, 7 jewels? Dial: Original, signed “MADE IN JAPAN”, some damages (cracks) near 10-11 position. Glass: Original, crystal glass, signed “21″ near center of the glass. Case diameter: 39 mm (outer case), 27.5 mm (watch case). Case material: Stainless Plated? Condition: Used, it runs well, – 1 or 2 minutes a day. For practical, everyday use, it would be advisable to have the movement cleaned and oiled. The movement is described on page 26, 46 of the book Japan Domestic Watch Vol. 12 – Before World War II.
