GOOD QUALITY, 18CT SOLID GOLD, AMERICAN WALTHAM RIVERSIDE HUNTER CASED POCKET WATCH. A very good quality, antique 18C. T Solid Gold American Waltham Pocket Watch with a high grade 19 Jewel Riverside movement. This is an excellent example, in very good condition and very good working order. The 18 carat solid gold case is in excellent condition. The English made case hallmarked with the maker’s mark “ALD” for Aaron Lufkin Dennison, “18″ and “crown” for 18. Carat gold, the Birmingham town mark and date letter “c” for 1902/03. The case has very crisp, engine turned engraving, showing virtually know signs of wear, with a central cartouche that is free of initials. An extremely fine example. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o’clock. It is signed by the maker “Waltham”. The very good quality, high grade, 19 Jewels, Waltham Riverside movement is in excellent working order. It is signed by the maker AWWCo. Waltham, Mass” and also “Riverside” alongside “19 Jewels, Adjusted. It has a lovely damaskeened finish. All signs of a very good watch. The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 106.9g. Thank you for viewing this listing from.
