London signed 22k Gold Repoussé case spindle clock ca. Fine, rare Repoussé pair case made of 22k gold, very fine very high-chased repoussé technique. The relief shows the biblical dairy, Judas receives 30 silver coins from the high priests. The scenery is framed by very fine engraved, hammered and impassioned volutes as well as filigree foliage. Large, five-piece outer hinge. The case is signed “Peckruel”? Smooth inner case with case makers punch mark IW, and hard-to-read; English / London Hallmarks with Gothic letters, ie Cycle XV, from 1756 to 1775. Both cases are in excellent condition. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, arabic minute track, original gilded Arrow & bow brass hands, small part missing at the minute hand, dial is in very good condition. Fire-gilt full-board , spindle lock, key hoist, signed Walker & Co. London, numbered 12689, screwed floral trim elements, chain / snail, square baluster pillar, three-armed steel bridge, fine floral engraved and perforated bridge bridge. The factory is in a nice state. Diameter 46mm, weight only watch 83g. The watch is in a very good, functional condition with almost no signs of use, The Chaser is unknown to me, but the quality is very high. Ballie: Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the world.
