GREAT 14K CASE / SUPER RARE ONLY 17,329 MADE / 1885 WALTHAM 6S 13J POCKET WATCH. Working and was tested over an 18 hour period and kept poor time, lost approx 8 minutes, balance staff & wheel ok. It will need a service or repair to keep perfect time, has sat idle for years. The very nice / decorative 14k gold case is 40mm in diameter and is in good condition, some minor scratches & wear, weighs approx 56.6 grams. Waltham c1885, Grade Royal, Model 1873-6, 6S, 13J, lever set, stem wind with date serial number 2704061. Super rare movement, only 17,329 were produced making it very collectable, more so in a 14k gold case. Dial has some cracks, inner case back engraved and dated 1888. Local Brisbane pick-up welcomed.
