Rare antique Verge watch gold gilded and hand painted horn case. Made by Peter Parkinson of London. Perfectly working verge fusee movement with a beautiful engraved. Balance bridge, signed: P. The really gorgeous miniature hand painted horn outer watch case is in an extremely. Good conserved condition, hard to find, very rare. The dial has a few hair lines and a small repair on the edge between 1 and 3 o clock. The crystal glass is near mint. The movement is recently serviced, running with a great motion and a good strong tick. In all positions, keeps reasonable verge time. Across 56mm, including bow 82mm. Will be delivered with a fitting key, and an extra key set of 14 pcs. Watches of this period are not accurate Quartz timekeepers. See my other items.
