Rare Alex Hollisome Verge Fusee Pair Cased Pocket Watch. Recently professionally serviced and in great working condition! Runs the full length of the chain with a hard sounding tick. Keeping good verge time with a variance of about 10 minutes per 24 hours runtime (please do not expect quartz time accuracy from a 228 years old pocket watch which are collectors items and not meant to wear). The movement signed “Alex Hollisome Liverpool” shines like new and bears the serial number 7889. Nice original old hands. All covers close with a tight fit as it should. Enamel dial is not perfect but stil in very good shape. Bulls Eye glass in good condition with some scratches. Nice old watch paper. English hallmarks for Birmingham 1804. Cases are hand polished and looking great. A superb addition to each valuable collection. Dimensions: diameter without crown a big 56 mm and a very heavy 147 gram. European countries 16 GBP.
