Up for sale is a beautiful 18s Hampden 23 jewels pocket watch. It was made in 1902 and has a very nice Rail Road grade 23 jewel movement, that is in excellent condition and runs great and keeps good time. It is in a beautiful gold filled case. Serviced: This watch was fully serviced 11-29-18 (all parts removed, cleaned, all jewel caps removed, cleaned, oiled, new unbreakable mainspring, and adjusted). Movement : This pocket watch is in good running condition and it keeps good time. The original beautiful Rail Road grade movement has 23 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions, adjusted to temperature, It has a single roller, gold screw settings, and gold balance weights. This movement is in very good condition! Dial : The original double sunk dial also is in very good condition. Case : The lovely gold case is in very good condition. HOWARD POCKET WATCH – THE COMPANY WHO CHANGED WATCHMAKING AS WE KNOW IT TODAY. ENTIRE PIECE WEIGHS A WHOPPING 131.8 GRAMS!! NET GOLD WEIGHT IS CALCULATED TO BE APPROX 43 DWT. FULLY HALLMARKED, HEAVY 14 KARAT YELLOW GOLD CASE IS SUPER CLEAN WITH VIRTUALLY NO SIGNS OF USE AND IS NEARLY PERFECT. VERY HIGH GRADE CONSTRUCTION. DESIRABLE HUNTER STYLE CASE HAS TONS OF CONTRAST AND DETAIL. ORIGINAL GLASS CRYSTAL IS INTACT. BOW IS TIGHT AND ALL HINGES AND LIDS ARE GOOD. GREAT FINISH ON THIS ONE AND I HAVE LEFT IT UNPOLISHED.
