Antique 18S Engraved Coin Silver Hunting Case 17J Waltham Pocket Watch – ca 1902. This 18 size, 17 jewel, Model 1883, coin silver, Waltham pocket watch has an approximate 55.75mm round, 3 oz case. One side of the case is hand engraved with a “circus” like view of a sail boat at sea with filigree, guilloche and a curtain detail. The other side has a view of a “circus” like closed curtain, filigree, flowers and guilloche detailing. The hinges are tight and open and close properly. The inside case is stamped “Dueber – Coin – 709047″. The white enamel double sunk dial has large black numerals, a red 5 minute track, blue spade hands, a sunken seconds register at 6 o’clock and is marked “Waltham”. The dial and crystal are both in great condition. The dust is stamped with the Dueber logo and “709047″. The fancy full plate movement is stamped P. Bartlett – Waltham, Mass. 17 Jewels – Adjusted – Safety Pinion – 11528930. All screws and rubies are in good condition. Stem wind, lever set. Watch is running 1 minute fast.
