Waltham Model 1857 Key Wind Key Set Silver Hunting Case Pocket Watch. Serial number 922,290. Movement – Winds and sets. It ticks for a few seconds and stops. Balance rotates freely and smoothly, but the movement is very dirty and needs to be cleaned and serviced. Case – Front cover opens to 90 degrees. Lift and latch springs work. Case lids fit flush and remain closed. Bow is firm and stays in the position in which it is placed. Substantial case with knurled edge around case middle. Inside front cover marked AW & Co. A faint hallmark is on the inside of the front and rear covers, but we cannot make it out sufficiently to describe it. It could be glued in better. Maybe we can reach an agreement. You have nothing to lose. The worst that will happen is that we tell you we are too far apart. See photos and description. Not serviced – Watch has not been serviced.
