Antique 1908 Rockford 16s 21j Adj 545 with Private Label Dial, Swing-out Case

For your consideration is an antique Rockford 16 size 21 jewel 545 pocket watch with private label dial, and nice swing-out case! The movement is marked: Rockford Watch Co. 545 21 Jewels Adjusted 5 Positions Safety Pinion Double Roller 781741. The movement features gold jewel settings, a gold train, and dates to 1908. The double sunk private label dial is marked: F. The dial is in fair condition, there are some hairlines in the finish, but no chips. The watch is currently running, and will wind/set properly. We do not know the service history and can not guarantee the time keeping on this watch. The original glass crystal was swapped out for plastic at some point, there are light scratches in the crystal. The case is in great condition overall, showing only light scratches, and some very small areas of wear-through on the finish, particularly along the edge of the bezel, and up around the bow/crown area. The engraving is starting to wear down, but is still very visible on the back of the watch. Inside the case back is marked: Illinois Watch Case Co. Guaranteed RAMONA 20 Years Double Stock 5597400. The lever-set movement is marked: Ball Watch Co. Cleveland, Ohio 999B 21 Jewels 6 Positions Adjusted Trade Mark Official Standard 1B2040. Dates to the 1940′s. The watch is currently running, and smooth to wind/set. We do not know the service history and can not guarantee the time keeping on this watch. The dial is marked: Ball Official RR Standard Cleveland. The dial and hands are in pristine condition – see photos. The case is in good condition, there are light scratches, and small areas of wear-through along the bow and edges of the crown.
