Pocket Watch 1917 Waltham USA 15 Jewel 10ct Gold Filled Dennison Moon Case

1917 WALTHAM USA 15 JEWEL Grade 620. 10CT GOLD FILLED DENNISON MOON CASE. Gentleman’s original American Waltham, U. 15 jewel pocket watch, with beautiful ivory porcelain dial and a highly polished, 10 carat rose gold filled (known in the UK as rolled gold) original Dennison “Moon” case. The case serial number is 592470 20 S. This would indicate it was made in 1920 (The S is the goldsmith’s initial). The movement serial number is 21285857 which dates to 1917. The watch is in good working order and keeps good time. The case is in very nice condition with no dents but a couple of small grazes at around the 4 position as can be seen in the photos. The porcelain face is in lovely clean and bright condition with just one hairline mark from the 2 position down to 5 on the second hand dial. Comes in a probably original soft leather pouch. Total weight is 102 grams. Measures: 5cm diameter, x 6.9cm from top of bow to base of hinges x 1.5cm thick. A very nice fully working antique pocket watch.
