A solid steel balance that has good motion and runs true in the flat… Original Deep blue factory. No spots and the key wind cup and ratchet polished.. Pure white enamel dial is free of hairlines or chips… Interesting Polished tip spade hand set… Coin silver hunting case is in very good condition… Front cover opens to 90 degrees.. The cover design is very nice and only exhibits normal pocket wear.. No dents or dings… Free of any major scratches.. Nice coin edged center band… Original bow and pusher piece.. This is an excellent antique Hamilton 18 size 21 jewel adjusted #941 pocket watch in a case out of an estate! The lever-set movement has is marked: Hamilton Watch Co. Safety Pinion 21 Jewels Adjusted 257675. The movement features gold jewel settings, excellent finishing, and dates to 1902. The serial number indicates that it’s a 941. The double-sunk dial is simply marked Hamilton. The dial is in fair condition, with some small chips along the edge visible when the bezel/crystal is removed. The dial also has some hairlines in the finish, and a larger chip by the set-lever. The watch will currently wind/set, and will run when wound. The case is in excellent condition, with nice tight hinges, and showing only light scratches, with no wear-through in the finish other than around the inside of the bow. Inside the case back is marked: 103899. We do not know the service history on this watch, and recommend it be serviced to keep running and keep time.
