16s Hamilton 23j 950-B, Original Case and Rare Original Bakelite Box, Railroad

Gorgeous 23J 950-B Hamilton Pocket Watch. This watch runs and functions just exactly as it should. The original Hamilton case actually has a little bit of the factory finish lines left on the case. This case is gorgeous and shows no wear, it is truly a 9.8 out of 10. The movement is in great condition with no damage or rust. The dial has a few light spots but over all it is in nice condition as well, I have removed the bezel and took a close up photo of the dial and hands. Very nice original Bakelite box that the watch came in, these are very difficult to find and it adds a nice touch to this rare collectors item. Old 19thC pocket watch case. Gold plated and tortoiseshell. Not known if real or faux, but nevertheless in g. And complete with bevelled glass crystal. Rare, Turn of The Century Triple Calendar Pocket Watch, With Calendar Functions and Moon Phase! Porcelain Dial with Black Arabic Numerals and Aperture for Moonphase. Month, Day Date functions. Gold painted Moonphase Dial with Mural painted background. Spade, Kite Hands for Extra Functions. Louis XIVth hands for Time. Gun metal Case with what appears may be an Ornate, Silver Outer case (not tested for silver) and Brass trim. Some discoloration and pitting to case back. Case diameter without crown, approximately 54mm. Movement marked, Continental Watch Co. Watch movement runs–not timed. Not all functions or pushers work. Missing some Hands–chip to dial: for repair/ restoration or parts. Some internal Parts may be missing or broken. With chip to dial. Nice looking and unusual watch. Too many watches, too little time. I will be putting many project watches and movements up for sale. Condition: Pictures show condition, more pictures upon request. Signs of wear and age overall. Dial with Chip at 9 o’clock.
