Up for sale is a really beautiful antique Elgin No. 349 18s Rail Road pocket watch. It is all original (apart from the case) and a model 7, made in 1909. It has a beautiful high grade movement with 21 jewels! It is in a lovely gold filled Dueber case, which is nicely decorated and in excellent condition! Movement : This watch runs great and keeps very good time. The beautiful original lever set movement is in excellent condition, and has 21 ruby jewels, adjusted to 5 positions, temperature and isochronism. It has a double roller and sapphire pallets, with gold screw settings and gold balance weights! This is an especially beautiful movement! Dial : The original double sunk dial is in excellent condition. Case : The lovely decorated gold filled Dueber case is in excellent condition. It just has a little brass on the bow and crown, but otherwise has no issues and the lids open and close as they should. This amazing watch is ready to display or carry! The case comes without assembled rings – in the form of three parts: the body, the top ring (with a convex glass), the bottom ring (with a flat glass). Early Hamilton Railway Special 992B 16s 21j Pocket Watch in Hamilton G. F. Case

The lever-set movement is marked: Hamilton Watch Co. 992B 21 Jewels Adj. And 6 Positions C9568. The movement dates to 1940. This is one of the early 992B’s!! The double-sunk dial is marked: Hamilton Railway Special. The dial is in great condition, with only one very small chip by 4 o’clock, that is not visible with the bezel/crystal screwed onto the case. The inside of the case back is marked: Hamilton Watch Co. 10K Gold Filled Lancaster, PA. The case is in excellent condition, showing only very light scratches/tiny dings on the edges, with no wear-through on the finish. The crystal on the watch is in excellent condition. The pocket watch will currently wind/set properly, and will run when wound. This is an excellent find out of an estate for a collector! See photos for condition please! Don’t pass up this EARLY 992B!
