The beautiful original lever set movement has 17 ruby jewels, adjusted to 5 positions. It has a double roller, gold screw settings an gold balance weights, and is in great condition! The original double-sunk dial is in very good condition. This lovely pocket watch is in a nice silverode salesman’s case, which is not the original but is in good condition. It indicates where to move the regulator lever to speed up or slow down the rate of the watch. French inscriptions usually indicate that it is a Swiss watch, and most old Swiss watches were made in a kind of home industry. They have no brand, nothing is recorded and numbers. But engraved # 17489 inside of this watch case. Measures 50 mm in diameter without the crown, with the crown it is 60 mm. Stamped inside the case: AH 800 17489 METAL. This fine white porcelain dial displays Roman chapters and fancy gold hour and minute hands. And a black minute track. Hand painted floral motif at the center of the dial. Or 78.3 grams.
