In this listing we are offering a wonderful high quality Patek Philippe Hunting Case Movement for sale. This movement was made around the 1900s by the world famous Patek Philippe & Co for Tiffany & Co. It features top grade features such as wolf teeth winding wheels, counterpoised lever fork, solid gold balance screws, and capped escapement. This was made for a ladies pocket watch retailed by Tiffany & Co thus it only has the Tiffany mark on both the dial and movement. It was customary for Tiffany & Co watches make by Patek Philippe to be missing the Patek Philippe signature. Tiffany labeled Patek Philippe movement has the famous’Curved Center Bridge’ design it is rarely seen to be this small and nevertheless executed to the same fine craftsmanship. Underneath the dial there is a faintly written’PP Co’ writing that confirms the movement is indeed made by Patek Philippe. Condition-wise the movement is NOT RUNNING and we have no way to test its operation/setting since it is missing the winding stem. Pressure applied to the center wheel easily gets the balance swinging freely meaning that the going train is working fine. There is quite a lot of rust on the hour and minute wheels so we are unsure if there is any problem with time setting. Cosmetically the enamel Tiffany dial does not have any hairline or crack but some of the text has faded. The winding stem and minute hand are missing, rest of the movement is complete. Movement diameter is 27.5mm. Return can be made if the item received significantly deviate from the lot description and must be made within 3 days after receiving item.
